Dr. Bronwyn Sutton is an award-winning speech pathologist with 38 years’ experience in private practice, education, and health. She is a neurodiversity-affirming therapist with a focus on understanding why a child is struggling and responding with empathy and support. To deepen her knowledge about autism, she pursued postgraduate qualifications in Education, along with a Master of Special Education in Autism and Early Intervention. Dr Sutton’s PhD research focused on utilising iPad technology to facilitate emotionally safe social interactions for autistic students. Dr Sutton is a sessional lecturer at Griffith University and frequently lectures on autism to allied health professionals and teachers.
